My sister and her husband welcomed Charlotte Lian Wednesday evening at 11:43 p.m. We had all been waiting eagerly for her arrival.  And, now I can hardly wait to fly out to Wyoming to meet her.

  I was on the t.v. show Shear Genius (a hairstylist's knockoff of Project Runway) last week.  Period.  That's all I can say since Shear Genius will take $50,000 out of my pocket if I mention any more.  And I very much like that wad of $50,000 sitting pretty in my back pocket- so my lips are sealed.  But, I will say that I had my hair chopped off on national television and it was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.  I will elaborate eventually...

  I almost forgot how freakin' adorable Shannon's cats were when they were babies.  She should have left them with me so that I could have slipped "kitten forever" drugs into their can cat food and carried them with me in my hand bag wherever I went!

  It's not like Shannon doesn't have enough on her plate planning her own wedding, but now she is deciding on what Tim and I should do for our wedding.  One of her ideas:  an Alice in Wonderland theme.  Hmmm... if I could just get everyone to dress in costume this would seriously be considered.

This is what I imagine Friday nights at Shannon's house to be like.

  Well, I have let Shannon know that I am adopting her as my sugar momma and that she needs to buy me my pricey French Bulldog for Christmas.  (I know she will pull through!!!)
  And, I decided that Pierre Louis XIV will need a playmate so I am putting this on my Christmas Wish List.  Now this guy far exceeds the price tag on all the other animals I have asked for in the past, but I assure you all that it will be well worth it.  He's a great package and worth every little penny!!!

  Let's just keep those fingers crossed that he doesn't end up eating little Pierre!

  Shannon has graduated and left me stranded here in California.  She has taken the kitties, as well, who will desperately miss me and cry for their auntie Brenda every night. (I am sure!)  ;)
